Renato was born in Flueelen, Canton (State) Uri, Switzerland, in 1952
He graduated from college at age 20 with a diploma called Matura B
Renato studied Psychology and Physics at the University of Zurich
From 1977 to 1980 he was working in Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the manager of a refrigeration company, Alhuda Establishment, owned by Sheikh Abdul Moneim Akeel
From 1980 to 1985 he was selfemployed as a management consultant with his company Renato Buehler Consulting in Zurich
At the end of this period he became a financial consultant with Merrill Lynch International, Inc., Lugano, Switzerland, passing the SEC (Security Exchange Commission) exams in the United States
From 1986 to 1991 Renato was working as a vice president with the German Private Wealth Management Bank Trinkaus & Burkhardt (Switzerland) Ltd. in Zurich and Lugano responsible for clients in the Middle East
Since 1992 Renato is selfemployed as a consultant in strategic planning
Renato founded RBCStrategy in October 2007
